A More Powerful RNAi

In humans, a protein called GW182 physically associates with a complex called RISC that includes the Argonaute protein. Structural images by a CSHL team suggest that when 3 Argonautes bind at the same time to GW182, the gene-silencing power of RNA interference (RNAi) may be enhanced.
