Visiting student Yusuf Kurt and Ph.D. student Katharina Budde (now postdocs at North Caroline State University and University of Copenhagen, respectively) collecting cones from a natural maritime pine population. This is the first step to establishing selection experiments aimed at connecting genomic information with fitness in maritime pine.
