Differences In DNA Folding Between Stem Cells, Neural Progenitor Cells, and iPS Cells (IMAGE)
Caption
The 3-D DNA conformation around a critical gene, Sox2, is markedly different between embryonic stem cells, neural progenitor cells, and some induced pluripotent stem cells. These differences are visualized using heatmaps, and illustrations below represent cartoon interpretations of how the DNA may be folding in each cell type based on the heatmap data.
