The Madagascar reed frog, endemic to Madagascar, lives in subtropical moist lowland forest, farms, ponds and seasonally flooded agricultural land. Authors found that the skin bacteria sampled from tropical frogs was less diverse than skin bacteria on amphibians from environments with more variable temperatures.
