研究團隊將CARPID應用在同一組lncRNA（XIST）的不同位置（L1, L2, L3）上，以找出結合蛋白。早前已被發現的結合蛋白以橙色字體標示，而未曾報道過的兩種結合蛋白TAF15和SNF2L則以藍色字體標示。
