Antibodies attached to N-terminal domain on SARS-CoV-2 (IMAGE)
Caption
Antibodies (shown in various colors) attached to the N-terminal domain of the pandemic coronavirus. Researchers have identified several potent antibodies in this supersite that protect against infection by this coronavirus in lab studies. This supersite also appears to be under selective pressure to escape human defenses, with some mutations possibly leading to the formation of variants.
