Our eyes aren't supposed to be able to see infrared light because infrared light waves are longer than the waves in the visual spectrum, but new work from vision researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis finds that sometimes we can see infrared light. and those researchers have figured out how it is that our eyes do that.
