2 States of TFIID (IMAGE)
Caption
The TFIID transcription factor protein co-exists in two states: Canonical, in which the lobe A is connected to the lobe C; and rearranged, in which the lobe A is connected to the lobe B. Only in the rearranged state does TFIID bind to DNA.
