The Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy, the nation's only nonprofit dedicated to cell and gene therapies for cancer, awarded Dr. Samuel Katz of Yale School of Medicine, a grant to study how a patient's T-cells can reprogram and recognize cancer as a threat and then attack only the cancer cells for blood cancers, leaving other cells healthy, with minimal side effects.
