Reactor Antineutrino Energy Spectrum (IMAGE) DOE/Brookhaven National Laboratory Caption The figure shows the reactor antineutrino energy spectrum measured by Daya Bay (top portion) and the ratio of the measured spectrum to the predicted spectrum (bottom portion). The measurements are shown as horizontal lines with vertical lines representing the range of statistical uncertainty at each data point. The red portion represents the range of theoretical predictions. The data reveal that the measurement has an unexpected deviation from the theoretical prediction around 5 million electron volts (MeV) in the measured energy.
