Assembling Molecular Graphene (VIDEO) DOE/SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory This video is under embargo. Please login to access this video. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Caption This video shows carbon monoxide molecules (black circles) being moved one at a time by a scanning tunneling microscope into the hexagonal "molecular graphene" arrangement. The molecules repel the free-flowing electrons (yellow-orange) on the copper surface, forcing them into a honeycomb pattern.
