XPD Topology

Caption

The topology of XPD, with alpha helices shown as rods and beta strands as arrows. The folded protein is surprisingly complex, with several adjacent structures widely separated in the linear amino-acid sequence. For example, the Arch and 4FeS domains sprout from the interior of the HD1 domain.
