The terminus of the Taku Glacier, in the images at left, advanced more than three miles from 1933 to 2016, as reflected by the yellow and blue lines superimposed on the photographs. The location of the red dot on a mountain in the top image matches the location of the righthand red dot in the lower image. The images and lines at right show the Columbia Glacier's retreat from 1985 to 2016.
