Crews excavating vertebrate fossils from the Hayden Quarry at Ghost Ranch, NM. These rocks contain abundant fossils of pollen, charcoal, fish, and reptiles, all of which were used to reconstruct the ecosystem and environment of this area 212 million years ago.
