研究人員以顯色劑標記出hiPSC-CM-GFP（綠色）和出現於心肌的MYH6/7基因 (紅色)。上面一行沒有植入含有hMSCs的貼片、只有注入hiPSC-CM。下面一行注入hiPSC-CM的同時亦植入hMSC貼片，可見綠色及紅色的範圍擴大，顯示注入的hiPSC-CM存活而且數量增加。
