Whole blood cells can be seen traveling down the wider channel. The thinner channels are the plasma skimming channels. Channel dimensions: large channel ~50 micrometer wide; skimming channels ~10 micrometers wide. The barcode at the bottom of the drawing represents a panel of about 10 proteins that were measured from a fingerprick of blood within the 10 minute time from from fingerprick to completion of the critical assay steps.
