Floodplain margins of Tonle Sap Lake, Cambodia in a late afternoon haze. Coupled CH 4 production and oxidation support CO 2 supersaturation in this tropical flood-pulse lake, and may contribute to high reported CO 2 supersaturation and atmospheric emissions from other tropical freshwaters with large amounts of seasonally or perennially flooded land.
