Undergraduate student Nina Carlile, graduate student Daniela Guerrero, and undergraduate student Alyssa Gladney keep a sedated wild piglet cool and monitor its body temperature while they collect data. The pig was caught in a soft, netted trap, quickly sedated, and was not harmed in the process.
