The schematic layout of the four types of charmed hadrons explored in the BESIII experiment

In the illustrations of the quark constituents of the four ground-state charmed hadrons, there contains one single charm quark, along with the other light quark(s). These hadrons decay via the weak decays of the involved charm quark, which provides very stringent test on the standard model.
