IceCube neutrino event: Hydrangea

IceCubeニュートリノ望遠鏡によって記録された、2016年12月の高エネルギーニュートリノ検出（イベント）を視覚化したもの。詳細なデータ解析により、このときにGlashow共鳴がおきたことが判明した。色付きの球体は、このときに反応したIceCubeのセンサーを示し、早くに反応したものを赤、時間が経ってから反応したものを青で示す。このイベントは円状に広がる形から「アジサイ」の愛称で呼ばれている。命名は千葉大学石原教授による。
