A human cell infected by a transgenic Toxoplasma gondii line (T. gondii) expressing a fluorescent protein (bright speck) in order to study the parasitic infection by fluorescence microscopy. T. gondii parasites (dark elongated shapes) are replicating within the vacuole they live in.
