Molecular Structure of the New near Infrared Fluorescent Labeling Agent PREX 710 with a Linkage Site (IMAGE)
Caption
Incorporation of the electron-withdrawing phosphine oxide (P=O) moiety into the xanthene framework enables red shift (increase in wavelength) of the excitation and emission wavelengths. The two methoxy (OMe) groups on the aromatic ring contribute to the enhancement in the chemical and photostability of PREX 710. Various biomolecules can be bound to PREX 710 at the R position via an amide linkage.
