<i>P. berghei</i> Sporozoite Gliding Movement

A P. berghei sporozoite (the infective Plasmodium parasite form injected by mosquitoes in the mammalian skin) sheds its major antigen, the circumsporozoite protein, during its gliding movement to reach a liver cell.
