Five partners -- the University of Guam, Guam Environmental Protection Agency, the Guam Department of Agriculture, the Guam Bureau of Statistics and Plans, and UnderWater World -- set out to collect small fragments from surviving coral stocks within Guam's Cocos Lagoon last July to populate a coral nursery. The agencies formalized a working alliance on Feb. 19, 2020, to collaborate on coral reef restoration, rehabilitation, and damage mitigation
