'Yeti' Bone

A femur bone from the decayed body of a purported Yeti found in a cave in Tibet. Biologist Charlotte Lindqvist tested DNA from the bone for Icon Films' "YETI OR NOT" TV special, which aired on Animal Planet in 2016. Her analysis showed that the bone actually belonged to a Tibetan brown bear. Lindqvist is an associate professor of biological sciences at the University at Buffalo and a visiting associate professor at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
