Himalayan brown bear from Deosai National Park, Pakistan. A new study ties DNA from purported Yetis to Asian bears, including Himalayan brown bears. The research was led by biologist Charlotte Lindqvist, an expert on the evolution of bears. Lindqvist is an associate professor of biological sciences at the University at Buffalo and a visiting associate professor at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
