The Plasma Blob that Appears in the Blob (IMAGE) National Institutes of Natural Sciences Caption The plasma blob takes a thin and long form and follows the magnetic field lines. This blob is composed of numerous plasma particles (ions and electrons). However, due to the magnetic field lines and the influence of the electrical field inside the plasma, the blob flies in the direction of the confinement vessel wall.
