This hinged two-layered dressing decreases the time and expense of constructing maggot wound dressings by combining all of the necessary materials and adhesives into a single user-friendly "cage." Modeled here just before adding the maggots to the wound, removing the adhesive liner, and then folding the netted fabric "flap" down onto the hydrocolloid base.
