Blue Whale Habitat Suitability Predictions

New research tool (an RShiny application) where users can explore and download hindcast predictions of blue whale distributions along the U.S. West Coast in 2009, 2015, and 2016. The tool displays predicted habitat suitability for blue whales from low probability (in blue) to high probability (in red). Over the next year, the researchers will develop an online tool to make daily predictions of blue whale density and distribution in near-real time.
