Coring a Massive Coral Porites in Guam (IMAGE)

Phil Thompson and Nicolas Duprey, members of the Baker's lab (The University of Hong Kong) coring a massive coral Porites in Guam in 2014. A similar technique was used to extract the coral core used in the present study. It must be noted that coral coring do not kill the coral colony.
