On this year's list of top 10 new species is a Ghost Slug -- Selenochlamys ysbryda -- an air-breathing, carnivorous land slug with blade-like teeth. What surprised scientists Ben Rowson and Bill Symondson was finding it in a well-collected and densely populated area of Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales, UK. The top 10 list of new species is announced annually by the International Institute for Species Exploration at Arizona State University.
