Rosamund Langston is from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology's Kavli Institute of Systems Neuroscience and Center for the Biology of Memory, and is now at the Center for Neuroscience, Division of Medical Sciences, Ninewells Hospital and Medical School in Dundee, Scotland. Langston's work with baby rats shows that the brain comes hard wired with an innate sense of direction.
