These are images of degraded coral reefs at Lizard Island, Northern Great Barrier Reef, Australia. The area has been heavily degraded in the last five years by severe coral bleaching and tropical cyclones. Climate change is causing dramatic increases in the frequency and severity of both bleaching and cyclones on coral reefs worldwide.
