The KIST research team used its newly developed process to form a wavy silver nanowire network film on a substrate the size of an A4 paper and succeeded in creating a stretchable and transparent display the size of an adult's hand. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images of a straight Ag nanowire network without prestrain, a Ag nanowire network with 50% prestrain without solvent annealing with high-magnification SEM image of sharply folded cracking points of Ag nanowire strands. SEM images of 50% pre-strained Ag nanowire networks under solvent annealing with water.
