An artist's impression of the record-breakingly powerful, superluminous supernova ASASSN- 15lh as it would appear from an exoplanet located about 10,000 light years away in the host galaxy of the supernova. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the Jan. 15, 2016, issue of <i>Science</i>, published by AAAS. The paper, by S. Dong at Peking University in Beijing, China, and colleagues was titled, "ASASSN-15lh: A highly super-luminous supernova."
