画面いっぱいに広がる淡いガス雲は、より早い段階で中心の星から球対称に噴き出したガスです。星から噴き出す細長いジェットが周囲の物質をはき寄せて変形させていくことで、複雑な惑星状星雲の形が今まさに作られようとしています。
