Edward O. Wilson, University Research Professor Emeritus at Harvard, is one of two noted scientists and conservation advocates to receive the 2010 Linnaean Legacy Award from the International Institute of Species Exploration at Arizona State University and the Linnean Society of London. The other recipient is Peter H. Raven, President Emeritus of the Missouri Botanical Garden. The presentation of the award is scheduled for Nov. 6 at the New York Academy of Sciences.
