GOES-13 Sees Massive Low Over Eastern US and Nicole Remnants (IMAGE)

The GOES-13 satellite captured a visible image of the extensive cloud cover of the trough (elongated area of low pressure) all along the U.S. East coast on Sept. 30 at 1345 UTC (9:45 a.m. EDT) that is feeding off tropical moisture from the Gulf of Mexico, and Nicole's remnants east of Florida (that appears to be the bottom part of trough of low pressure.
