ダイヤモンドを用いた小型の高圧発生装置

ガスケットと呼ばれる金属の板に小さな穴をあけ、その穴に試料と圧力媒体を入れて２つのダイヤモンドで挟み込むことで高圧を発生させる。ダイヤモンドを通してレーザーを試料に照射することにより、試料を高圧高温にする。さらに、ダイヤモンドを通して試料にX線を照射することにより、高圧高温下の試料の測定を行うことができる。
