Drone Captures Leopard Seals

This photo shot by remote-controlled aircraft saved scientists the time and cost of capturing, immobilizing and weighing wild leopard seals. A new study found the drone photos just as effective at gauging the condition of the seals, which reflects the health of the Antarctic ecosystem.
