Electron dynamics_second harmonic introduced (IMAGE)
Caption
A second harmonic is introduced into a strong fundamental field to disturb the tunneling ionization process. By changing the relative phase of the two-color field, the strong-field tunneling ionization PEMD is perturbed by the SH field. By monitoring and analyzing the relative phase where the photoelectron yield maximizes, researchers can accurately resolve the quantum orbits at each momentum.
