The labeled countries could be in a Middle East Nuclear Weapons-Free Zone or Weapons of Mass Destruction-Free Zone. This map from the International Panel on Fissile Materials report adopts a United Nations suggestion that such a zone could include "all States directly connected to current conflicts in the region: the League of Arab States and the Islamic Republic of Iran and Israel."
