Metaklett is a hook and loop fastener system developed by researchers at TUM, the Technische Universitaet Muenchen. Like Velcro fasteners, Metaklett devices can be easy to secure and release, yet they can withstand very strong mechanical stresses, high temperatures and harsh chemicals.
