Fully-automated peak-picking method for stay-cables

Developed method utilizes remarkable but simple domain knowledges on modal frequencies in cable-dynamics. Exploiting the domain knowledge results in the robust and reliable fully-automated peak-picking irrespective of cable-characteristics. Based on automatically estimated-peaks, the tension forces and damping ratios can be estimated reliably without any prior setting or human manipulations.
