Lin Li, Ph.D., assistant professor of physics at The University of Texas at El Paso, discovered valuable data in comparing the fundamental mechanisms of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (SARS-CoV) and SARS-CoV-2 -- also known as COVID-19 -- to better understand how these viruses attack the human body. His research was published in the scientific journal Frontiers in Molecular Biosciences.
