This is a satellite-based rendering of the Mekong River in Southeast Asia. The river, part of which is viewable in the lower center of the map as a brown, curling line traversing north to south, flows through China, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam before discharging into the South China Sea.
