An indri lemur lounges in a tree in Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, Madagascar. Thanks to next-generation sequencing methods capable of uncovering emerging diseases in wildlife that other diagnostic tests cannot detect, indri lemurs have been found to carry several new parasites never before reported in lemurs or their native Madagascar.
