Aqua image of Harold (IMAGE) NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center Caption On Apr. 8, NASA's Aqua satellite analyzed Tropical Cyclone Harold using the Atmospheric Infrared Sounder or AIRS instrument when it was a major hurricane. AIRS found coldest cloud top temperatures as cold as or colder than minus 80 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 62.2 Celsius).
