Kidney cancer is the seventh most common type of cancer in men and the 10th most common in women, affecting about 65,000 people each year in the united states. Some 14,000 die of the disease each year, but new research from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis seeks to help more people survive by finding the disease before it has spread beyond the kidney. Jim Dryden has more.
