People on the project live and work in this building. In the winter the South Pole Station houses 40-50 people, but in the summer there are about 2-300 people in the camp. During the summer season your stay is typically around three weeks, while those, who work during the winter, stay a whole year. Researchers from 44 institutions in 12 countries are part of the international project.
